What Reiki has done for me...

It all started when... I was pregnant with my daughter in 1999, and was in a motor vehicle accident. After a painful pregnancy and a year after my beautiful daughter was born, I was told my remaining pain was called, "Fibromyalgia".

Fibromyalgia is a specific kind of pain that’s chronic, widespread, and often accompanied by tenderness. “Chronic” means that the pain lasts a long time—at least 3 months or longer. Many people experience fibromyalgia pain for years before being diagnosed. “Widespread” means that it is felt all over, in both the upper and lower parts of the body. However, many people with fibromyalgia feel their pain in specific areas of their body, such as in their shoulder or neck. And “Tenderness” means that even a small amount of pressure can cause a lot of pain.

In a chance meeting with a stranger, I was referred to a Reiki Practitioner for help. After one session, my pain was removed and I became aware of the origin of my pain.

I was so impressed with the simple purity of my session, I went to the practitioner the very next day and asked to become her student.  Every year since, it has been my mission to teach others of this simple truth of learning about oneself and finding our personal cures to unlock natural health and wellness.
